This course is for those with an interest in nutrition and would be of particular use to members of the general public and those working within the food industry or catering trade. No previous nutrition knowledge is required. By completing this course, you will have the necessary tools to better interpret information about nutrition and health.
This course covers:
Module 1: Introduction to eating and drinking well
Module 2: Energy and nutrients
Module 3: Nutritional needs throughout life
Module 4: Diet and lifestyle and their impact on health
Module 5: Understanding food labels
Module 6: Healthy eating and drinking in practice
Each module includes a short test, providing you with feedback on your progress.
On successful completion of a final assessment, a personalised BNF certificate is created. (The final assessment may be repeated).
This course will take approximately 5-7 hours to complete. You can complete the course at your own pace – there is no time limit.
